“Lipetsky Buvet” is a drinking and mineral water from natural Lipetsk sources known for its therapeutic properties for more than 200 years.  A pump-room is a drinking room built right around the water source.  The notion comes from the French word “boire” meaning ‘to drink, allay thirst”.

According to a legend the founder of Lipetsk waters was Peter the Great who made his recommendations in regard to the waters use.  The water from Lipetsk sources contains great amounts of iron, sodium, magnesium and calcium salts.  The healing properties of the water are similar to those of the world’s famous places as Spa, Libenstein, Piermont, Schwalbach and Rosenbrunen.
